well i gota new temp sensor pug do not sell the fuel temp sensor on its own as theres a modified rail for the hdi and its very costly for everything including the modified pipes
installed new water temp sensor still the same
linked it up to a diagnostics and theres nothing stored on the ecu no fault codes
hdi 110 hard to start and cuts out sometimes

cheers mate am going to try what it says in the 1st link disconnect my fuel rail sensor so it goes back to default pressure and if it starts no problem then its down to that tbh i think i need the modified wiring for it

also where is the fuel return valve located
i have also read that it could the high pressure switch located on top of the fuel pump held on with 3 little screws

well guys the relay solved my cutting out problem
as for the hard to start when warm problem : i took my crank sensor out and it was covered in tiny shavings of metal from the oold crank sensor cleaned the other one installed bk in and guess what it started with the engine bein roasting
switched it off left it for a bit then went to start it wanted to started as u heard it ready to crank over could it be possible my crank sensor isnt picking up the speed of the fly wheel for it to start it eventually starts after 2 or 3 cranks its starting alot better now what do you guys think
the crank sensor i have was from another car in the scrapyard

There's nothing like chasing 2 faults when you're only expecting one
Sounds like a result so far, not sure about the crank sensor and swarf?? WTF!

i really do think i have a faulty crank sensor as the car is starting alot better than before i cleaned it i just think its not picking up the correct flywheel speed therefore taking a little bit longer for it to start

Not seen one of these, or how they're mounted, but inductive sensors are fussy about sensing distance - too far away & it won't 'see' anything. too close and it will 'see' something all the time, rather than not seeing the gaps in the reluctor ring / teeth on the flywheel or whatever. As they're a magnetic device, performance also varies with temperature, (which may explain part of your earlier problems).
It isn't measuring speed BTW it's tracking the flywheel position as it rotates to calculate the injection timing.

also with the crank sensor being covered in tiny metal shavings due to my own fault it wont pick up a good enough signal for it to crank over and it wouldnt help if it has worn out
thanks guys will keep yous informed about this going to get a new crank sensor from pug on monday
