Pulls around 160 HP; apparently, with a Superchips product, a good panel airfilter, and a stainless steel exhaust, I could get it up to 180+ HP.
no2lurch has a 2.2 SRi estate, he can tell you what it's like in that car. Not sure if it's exactly the same engine or not.

Re: Theres a 1.6
Is there any chance the 1.6 was sold in Southern Ireland? They do a roaring trade in 1.6 Vectras & Mondeos down there due to their tax based on capacity.

Re: Theres a 1.6
On ebay is anyone ever curious why the cars are getting broken down for parts. Some absolute mint looking cars getting stripped down. Can anyone use the dvla website to tell me how many 406s are left on the roads

Re: Theres a 1.6
they cant be that hard to repair, if they had known of this place id say there would be less in ebay for breaking, but then again we do need a good supply of parts.

Re: Theres a 1.6
The trouble is the price of cars in gB is (mostly) so low it doesn't take much to make a car not worth repairing. Especially at dealer rates.
