Im basing my "no fap" statement on this
http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/car-reviews/ca ... 04863.html

The X-line special edition is based on the mid-range SE specification so equipment levels look fairly promising. A CD stereo, front fog lights, alloy wheels, electric windows and folding door mirrors, tyre pressure sensors, automatic headlights and automatic wipers all feature on the saloon with the SW adding a panoramic glass roof and an opening tailgate window. On top of these SE features, the X-line delivers a 6 CD autochanger and what Peugeot refer to as a rear parking aid. This isnt a massive rear view mirror or a pair of X-ray specs but a row of sensors on the back bumper linked to a bleeper which warns of impending collisions.

"Peugeot are, in effect, offering customers a choice between their FAP particulate filter technology and their parking assistance technology"

The non-FAP X-line models are priced at a £300 premium over their FAP-equipped SE counterparts.

Im willing to accept that Yahoo cars is hardly a world renowned name in the field of Automobile journalism but it does seem to state that this is from Peugeot itself.
Mine is a 2005 too so from the same year as this article.

Me? What could I do from here? I suppose if someone had a car to ring, saw your VIN on here and found from Service Box that your car was the right colour, engine etc. then perhaps they'd steal your car to give themselves an easy time. Or they could just spot it on the side of the street and do the same thing.

You could just pm it me

Going by that I'd say used X-line models could well command a hefty premium in years to come.

Da-dah!
ENGINE DW10BTED4 TURBO DIESEL WITHOUT FAP

You lucky devil you :cheesy:

There's hardly anything here too, although you'd expect that from a little farming community. It's generally only houses with kids in and there's a great deal of old'uns around us here. My brother lives in a row of semis in Herts and can see networks in almost all of his neighbours 4 or 5 houses each way, and not all of them secure either...

Woohoo, that means the money Ill save on filters and additive can go on more waxes and polishes haha.
My cousin who lives further towards Grimsby town centre has been using "Free" Wifi for about 4 years now, there are atleast 5 unsecured routers within signal range.Silly billys.
My old man uses Wifi and Im not a huge fan of it,Ive told him although Ive secured his network that if he wants to use any cards or input any really personal information he can use my wired service.

tbf everyone worries about the Fap but not many people have had issues with it and, it can be removed totally for under £100 according to info from another pug site.

But it's still much nicer to not have it in the first place. I quite fancied the idea of getting a 307 SW XSi HDi when the 406s get too old to be able to get a reasonable one, but that bloody FAP is still off-putting.
