Because we are dumb enough to sort out waste,
the council is colleting 100s of tons of metal pre sorted everyday,
+ plastic pre sorted,

theyve no where to store it so, it goes on a boat to china, there kids will be getting all kinds of ilnesses no doubt, poor bastids,

iwonder where the Millions of £s they make on the tin cans go?

ive stopped putting empty cans in the brown bin now, if they want them they can go thru all the crap in the black bags for them,
wouidnt mind if it was Raising money for a good cause, but theres no sighns of money going back into comunitys from whats made by people taking time to clean cans and bottles,

These countries are in trouble because the cost of borrowing to finance their deficits and, more significantly, to re-finance their debt has increased because they look like a risky investment. It's a vicious cycle.

When banks lent to these countries they (should have) understood the risk of default, and accounted for this in setting the interest rate. As such, I think it is reasonable to default on at least some of the debt.

The UK has so far avoided this problem: firstly we have never defaulted on a loan; secondly our government is committed to reducing our deficit; thirdly there is general public consensus that deficit is bad and cuts are necessary. All this means that, so far, we can borrow cheaply.

However, we're still living on borrowed money. Even after Osbourne's cuts, we will be in deficit every year for the next five years, and debt will reach 70% of GDP. Can you imagine spending more than you earn every month for the next five years, and having an overdraft of 70% of your annual salary?

Obviously, it's very important that we continue to look like a good investment in order to be able to finance our lavish national spending, which is why I'd like to see more cuts.

Some of our problem here come from people spending more than they earn, through the banks selling mortgages than were worked out way more than the buyers salaries.
And remember our first banking bailout in 2008? When the banks were given the first lump of imaginary cash, instead of using it to lend to small and medium uk businesses which they were supposed to, they went and invested it into foreign countries like china to try and make more money back.

And our ally cans do get recycled here in the uk, I've seen the huge ally blocks proudly displaying "made from 5 million aluminium cans" getting exported. And there is a very large plastics recycling plant in operation in lincolshire on the old RAF hemswel base still under construction, I was there delivering a massive shredder a few weeks back.

Let's just hope the government force uk banks to lend that 75bn to uk businesses this time, they were thinking of using this latest devalued cash to give directly to us the people in the form of store vouchers to get us spending. But the banks got it instead.

The reason that obama is not interested in chinas WMDs is because everyone does know they have them and he only picks on countries that cannot defend themselves, china is too powerful for the west, so instead the west. I'd trying to kiss their arse for now till they decide who's side they're on lol!

Really !!! people that i speak to are not in agreement with losing their jobs their local services having a diminishing
NHS and local health service seeing their private pensions interfered with small and medium businesses going under
on a weekly basis , and why ?? . So that Joe publics taxes can be used to reduce a deficit brought about by governments
using public money to bail out greedy gambling banks , helping to bail out countries even though we are not in the
euro , about to agree to pay more into the IMF which ultimately will be used to bail out other countries , overseas aid
amounting to billions , do you think joe public was happy as he was being told he was losing his job the same day as the government announced it was giving pakistan 16 million to build schools .
People around here talk about being pissed off with price rises and lower standard of living and higher fuel prices while the government just gives away money worldwide !!!

Well said that man! And I fear there will be more of the same to come. I look at the markets every day. Governments are just trying to keep it stable, There's bad news about the euro they go down, we've sorted a new bailout plan, they go up, Greece might vote to stay or go, they go dooown, the vote might Not happen, they go back up.

They keep trying to keep the plates spinning. How long before they start crashing?
