D8 Parts

hi Gary, I'm looking for some screws and fixings. I'll point to this post that I made at Chief's thread. That's floor console rear bolt and dash-to-aircond blower housing screw.

Next are a bunch of screws that secures the wheel arch trim. It's number 71 in the picture below. ServiceBox says there are 31 of them. I need a bunch of them since quite a number have gone missing over the years.

Lastly is the plastic pins that holds down the front grill with the badge. 4 plastic "rivets" as ServiceBox call them, mine's missing 2 in the middle.

I'm trying to restore all the parts best as possible. Maybe you can help? Cheers.

How expensive are they from the dealer then? Not checked out screws & bolts to be honest, but I bought a shedload of trim clips for pennies.

You still got the OEM head unit Gary? I want the power button off it!

not from this car but since fitted aftermarket stereo in my new to me d8 and that radio is complete fully working... be a shame to pull the power button off it really when its complete

but sure i can sort you that out

Yeah I understand if you don't want to ruin an otherwise complete head unit.

Let me know if you're happy to let me have just the power button or not mate

To make it a bit more worth your while, what's the state of your driver's side door sill rubber? (see pic) Mine's literally disintegrating, could do with replacing...

luckily my new d8 are mint seals. they just need new clips . penny's from dealers .

anyway on my spares car the drivers side is also mint. and passangers side is a wreck ..

I got 50 genuine clips from ebay for £3.50 delivered,that should keep me going for a while

u got a item number mate ? i need some of those. my seals are hanging off with kids catching them

It was 260876349083 but not sure if they've still got them,i've got through quite a few already as most of mine on the new car were busted on both sides and my neighbour and a mate of mine had a load off me!

I was getting out the car the other day in a tight space and caught my boot on the seal and broke 5 clips straight off,they are really a crap design.I carry the spares in the glovebox so i can repair on the go! I also carry a small screw driver to push the busted bit into the sill to leave the hole for the new clip,my sill must be full of broken clip ends
