They don't make 'em like they used to.......

Actually I was saying to my mechanic that in the 20 years I've been driving I've never had so many problems as I've had in recent years with snapped springs, and worn out sussy......we concluded it's the roads and the 'fashion' for larger wheels/low profiles :|

Yes, you're right.

I still get shocked-looking drivers in my rear mirror when I go over the bumps at a snail's pace :|

Nah, I don't do that anymore, although I do like a tester with "common sense", it's all too rare these days :roll: :lol:

My mate works for Rt Williams on pant industrial estate (not sure if you know it?) and he is not qualified to mot the bikes up there and some of the criteria forced upon them by law is stupid... to many rules in everything these days to be sensible lol.
