ABS light has gone out now so looks like its fixed. Just need to sort out side airbag light.lol

When you say you've drilled them out in the past, have you managed to actually un-do the 5mm hex screw that's retaining the sensor?

Is there a thread or a video showing how to clean these yourself?...

How straight forward is it?

I have basic skills.

I think the answer to that question is, depends on if it comes out in one piece...
My ABS sensor's retaining bolt (as you can imagine with the weather we have) was on solid, rusted in I presume! I couldn't get the hex to un-do it what so ever and ended up rounding it and still couldn't remove it...
In the end I had to chisel off the sensor and replace. New sensors sleeve was drilled out and glued onto the retaining bolt..
