yeah true them warranty covers have clauses in them, my mate took on out on his car, when he read the small print it was only some costs of parts that where coverd, not labour, clutch and Dmf was excluded so he canceld it,
ibet you will save a few quid on that on insurance compared to the peugeot,
Insurance on the HDi90 is £2165 and is £1150 on the Mondeo but when I just swapped my policy over they wanted an extra £88. I couldn't be arsed to argue so just forget it. I'l reap the savings in November when it's due

Its most probs because they wouid cancel your current insurance provider and swap over to another,
it happend to me when igot the lag, icouid of saved 95 quid or so but wouid of lost the build up of next years N.c.b so im doing the same just waiting for Renewal and go from there, but this goes to show how much these Sly bastids make out of people eh

Keep a good check on the steering,my mate that has got his own garage says there has been some sort of issue with the steering racks on the new shape Mondeos and it costs a lot to put right,he hasn't had one in but has just heard through the trade.

There is a filter on the power steering fluid which blocks up and starves the steering racks.
Will change the filter and fluid sooner rather than later and it's ok for a good few years then
Brett, I'l get back to you soon about the PP2000
Do you need it asap?

Sounds daft but being a high miler and most likely an ex lease car those steering problems would have been sorted long ago at someone else's expense, being ex lease stuff is done when needed not like us when it's done when we can afford it.Not busting for pp2000 as the xp laptop i was getting had a duff dvd/disc drive, should have another xp laptop coming in a week or so.

Well indeed; I reckon one of the best ways to by a car is 3 to 4 year old ex-fleet, about £5k, and with as many miles on as possible. That's how I got my 406. (And that's how I intend to get my 508.)
The good thing with ex lease is that they've normally been used on long journeys and have been up to optimal running temp most of the miles and not used for short shopping journeys,my first lease van was a 1.8d Escort and i did 176k in it in 3 1/2 years and apart from regular servicing and wear and tear parts it never let me down,my last Vivaro van did 165k and had 1 egr valve in 3 years.I don't do so many miles now but my 09 Boxer has 80k on it and has been very reliable up to now.

Ex lease cars a good buy,
ive had a few, they seem to be well maintained and very clean ,
This lag igot as had everything replaced that breaks, no expense saved , as of mileage its just dont 91k so there not all high milers
And this glue is for my submarine not for putting up you're f*c*ing noses, and dont think i dont notice cos i do... Buy your own f*c*ing glue!!! Fatty Lewis Twin town 1997.
It's home
It's so quiet and so smooth, lots of grunt, you can really feel the overboost function.
Also very fast for 125bhp! Got it upto 120 on my private motorway in the click of a finger!
It's very very posh, I'm totally won over by it
Picks tommorow with abit of luck
