My car has the rubber type bottom pulley but according to service box it should have the later solid type one,i'm confused as to what it should have now it's got a solid flywheel,as for the clutch type alternator i haven't got a clue what its got fitted. :?

Right - keeping pug - still getting 750 - 800 miles per tank (73lt) - current plan...

Plan A - cheap option - new solid flywheel, 1x gearbox and 1x top engine mount, rebleed clutch and fit (now confirmed) lost intermittent bearing holding bolt

Plan B - the above but with a new complete driveshaft

I thought the solid ones were for the later cars only,might be wrong though. :?

Hmmmm, how much movement should there be on the gearbox engine mount, you can certainly see it move... not subtle like rear or timing belt side which is more of a vibration movement that a big shift... problem 1 solved???

Cheers everyone but I've given up on this and have got another motor, I'll either weigh in or part break this one.... picked the other motor up earlier...
