Checked and I have the same version of the software.

Do you have the same Antivirus or firewall software on each computer? if so try disabling it.

Given it is happening on two separate computers, the next thing to try would be a different car if you can find one, but I would start looking at the interface as being faulty...

They do both have the same antivirus, while chatting to some demented bint on facebook last night i realized that the laptop i used was actually running vista and not win7.
No idea if this makes any difference but I'm going to try it on my win7 laptop now but I'll uninstal avast first seeing as it's simple to put back on...all this hinges on my dvd reader playing ball though.

China must have had some week off because I've heard nothing from them until today when they replied to a message i sent yesterday telling them the vehicle make/model... They asked me to try the device on other cars to which i replied "already tried on me dads"

This was the reply i just got.
Hi friend,
Good day!
I am sorry to bring you inconvenience.
If it is still not ok,is that ok we refund you the money?
But if you would like, you could have a try on other cars, this item would be fit for other cars.this item is a good device.
Sorry again.
have a nice day!

best regards
