406 D8.5???

Saw the back of a V reg D9 today, which was white but had what appeared to be black plastic doorhandles! I thought 406s all had colour-coded handles?

the really basic 'poverty spec' 406's didnt have colour coded handles, they didnt even get colour coded mirrors

Like the Granada used to do, the 406 "Taxi"

(genuine now, teh granada "taxi" was in the 1987 Ford Brouchure)

As it goes Welton, I'd only just come in from my local, so yes, I had been drinking.

But no really, I wasn't dreaming or anything, there really was a page in the Ford brouchure for the "granada Taxi", jst like there was one ofr L, GL, Ghia etc. I was a Granada with no trimmings.

Really now....

Someone help me out here, I'm not dreaming
