Don't even think about it maddy, you've killed enough wildlife as it is.MaDc0w wrote:How much difference does the cat make in terms pollution?
Anyone have some before and after test results to share?

We won't relax over hear knowing you might be reversing your de-catted 406 upto a Farm yard animal and reving your engine.

Have you ever heard a sheep coughing? it's not nice.

Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

Man... you hit a "few" animals, take out a "few" roadblocks and never get to hear the end of it. LOL
As I said long ago: IT'S THIER FAULT for being on the road!

I was just wondering bout the pollution differences.. It would probly drive me nuts how loud the pug would be without the cat...

My mate runs his XU engined 205 GTI 1.9 without a cat and its bloody loud at idle - Can't imagine its very healthy as well because of all the petrol fumes and other associated shite which is put through the air when you are idling at traffic lights!MaDc0w wrote:Welton wrote:

There are plenty of ways to get more performance out of a car besides ripping out the cat - It's just a cheap option to do so, and illegal mind you!

Yeah, that has to be a health issue there! That is why I was wondering how much difference the cat makes.
