Re: Newbie
sweet a mates got a manual one on a v plate they go well dont they

Re: Newbie
Mine an auto/tiptronic, would have preferred manual but they are hard to get. Mostly do local trips and long runs so kind of suits the auto.
Does go pretty well but I am kind of getting used to it so it doesn't seem that fast. I think a lot of that because its very smooth and i am used to the HDi where all the power comes in pretty much in one go lower in the revs,.
The handling is amazing, i thought the 406 handled quite well but this sticks to the road like nothing. Suppose the double wishbone suspension all round and four wheel steer help.
Missing the toys of the 406 thou, no climate control, heated seats or rain sensitive wipers. On the plus side the air con works which it never did on the 406, good considering the current weather.

Nice, my plan (before a few "life changes" was to replace the 406 with an accord at some point. would have been the CDTi thou.ESSEXWIDEBOY wrote:mbell666 i also drive a 53 plate honda accord 2.4 type S.....that's vgood.
