Clutch Pedal sticking down

Re: Clutch Pedal sticking down
The spring doesn't do much at all apart from altering the feel of the pedal - the returning action is by hydraulic means
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: Clutch Pedal sticking down
The pedal return spring is only there to bring the pedal back to the same height every time it's released.
I'd def start with the slave cylinder & take it from there & i can't see it being the master cylinder seal as you would be loosing fluid

Re: Clutch Pedal sticking down
How strange,
Mine does the same thing, it's as if it's suddenly worn and you have to push the pedal back up with your toe!!
It started a few months ago, when you 'adjust' it back up it's grand, like new,
which it is now, just had a new clutch after it wore out (it's a taxi, you know)
Any more thoughts/solutions since this was last posted?
cheers.
