who said the french are all dipsticks!!
i wonder how involed it would be to swap for a oil pressure gauge as from previous comments they are fitted to some models

I've never heard of an oil pressure gauge on a 406, only level indicators and temperature gauges

Retro-fitting a temperature gauge would be EXTREMELY difficult on a D8 as you'd need to make up a new sensor mounting somewhere on the engine near the thermostat, or modify the thermostat housing directly as the dashboards with the sensors expect a different voltage range to the ECUs

ah well it was just a idea,nothing easy on a 406 is it
but im still enjoying it
