Heated Mirrors, not working....

Tilt the mirror glass all the way up in the housing.Then looking at the bottom under the mirror glass,you should see the 2 ends of the metal retaining clip.With a thin screwdriver,push each clip end sideways,at the same time as pushing it into the mirror housing untill it springs open.Then the mirror glass should come out.On both my 406`s there was`nt much play in the heater wires.Once out,you`ll see how the retaining clip works,making it easyier to remove the next glass.
I had a look on ebay,you can pick up new heated glasses with blue tint for £10 with free postage.
