Just how much stronger is it than the 2.0 HDi 136? viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13613#p167849
Not as much as those numbers imply -- certainly not below 2500RPM.
So in order to achieve that 0--60 time, you must have to rev it round to 4,000 RPM before changing.

Does it matter in an Auto? You sling your right foot down and away you go.

I live in Italy, which is the country of... well I do not know of what but definitely if you do not step first noone will stop at the zebra cross to let you pass... let alone use indicators and such. I live in a small city but have to stay in a lager one because of university... lucky me I don't have to use the car here or I'd become mad in 10 seconds time. Everyone stops where they want with no indicators, horns on continuosly, the few parking places are a battle to park in, no single car is unmarked...

You are lucky. Here it is much worse!
I remember getting sent by work to the Telecom Italia offices in Rome.

The taxi driver from the airport seemed to think his Chrysler Voyager was a racecar, autobahn speeds on the autostrada (and then swapped one of my notes for a €5 euro and diddled me out of €15 euro on arriving at the hotel)

Then the taxis to and from the office, a 2 lane dual carraigeway in theory, in practice it can host as many as 3-4 lanes of traffic.
I witnessed a motorist drive into the back of a police car (most police cars there were 159s 8) ).
Parking was performed by shunting the car in front and behind.
And the green man at the traffic lights doesn't mean walk, it means "wait until traffic has stopped" as a bus nearly ran me over in the city centre!
Well luckily here it's not as bad as Rome. Only Naples is as bad, and worse, as Rome. Where I live, thank god, we have no problems at all exept the occasional idiot, since my city is small and isolated between the mautains. But in Trieste where I study it's like in Rome, only a little better. Also you forgot motorcycles overtake you from every direction at any moments with no sign of indicating.

When I came to UK (London only sadly) I was impressed by the 100% record (over two weeks) of cars stopping at zebras... some years ago that'd be 5% here, even if things are getting better.
