Re: Seen any 14 plates? if so, what?

Ah, that brings me back to this then:

Well, now that Welly is complete I guess we can move on.

Did I tell you about my new dash cam yet? Or my new lawnmower? Or my new (to me anyway) not-so-smart phone?

Or maybe the 4 sockets in my attic that are fed in 1.5mm straight from the shower pull cord!

Do what? :? You mean they're teed into it there? I guess that's ok if the plan was to run some lights but sockets? In the attic too, most odd.

Ooh, so something goes wrong with the power sockets, fed by 1.5mm  , and 'protected' by a mahoosive MCB and 10mm cable.....nice work

If you had to pick up a supply like that you should bosh it straight into a fused spur first, but shouldn't you take 10mm into the fused connection to match the shower supply.

Anyway stop hijacking me freds.

Welly has it in one!
The 1.5mm cable will struggle upwards of 10A. The sockets have the potential to pull 52A and the fuse is rated at 40A.

Anyone seen any "14" vanity plates yet? (Don't understand that kind of behaviour myself, seems rather pretentious :supafrisk:  )

I'm guessing people with "IA" in their names are on the prowl... Any Ians out there? "XX 14N XX".

Hmmm, it'll be "SA" in September wont it? Watch all the Susans appear "SU54N XX"
