Immobiliser fault?

Ah, splendid, a self-fixing car :shock:

It's a bit worrying that condensation could do that, my first thought is the box that holds the BSI isn't airtight...

I suspect the problem was in the ignition lock, the AA man said there was water in it and I had left the key in for sometime. I'm not about to find out by pouring water in it though. This means of course that my son can now have it but the MOT runs out at the end of the month so guess who will be preparing it. :roll:
