He's talking about the clips that hold the rubber strip on, the one that' goes all the way along the sill and is best placed to get kicked off by people exiting the car.

do you mean the clip that attach the rubber seal to bodyworks? can I change the clip only? Do you think that there are other holes -beside that clip hole- that can function as a water inlet to the sills area?
