Perhaps you might use the fabiric spray on the fabric.

heres a pic of before and after

the after pic is taken 1 minute after spraying, so its still wet through, it is drying quite good to be honest

ive used 1 tin so far to do both rear door cards, but to be honest they need 1 and a half bottles just to give them a bit extra coat
so looks like i will be ordering another 2 tins

also the black plastic bit of the doorcard has paint runs on but it cleans off hard plastic very good so once job done will post more piktures

Looks good. Is it more of a paint or a dye? What does it come out like if you get it on the plastic?

Have contemplated doing something similar with my old doorcards to match the new interior, but from what you're saying about how many cans are needed, it'd be more cost effective for me to just buy a set of Rapier doorcards as I'm sure I could get a set of them for about £40. Unfortunately for you it isn't an option as there aren't any black D8 doorcards.

Funnily enough, there's somebody selling some on Ebay at the moment at £12.50 each + P&P.

ye that would be the better option for you as them doorcards have a nice velvet material on them
it sprays out like water andis more of dye really
ive just ordered 1 more tin, used 1 tin on 2 doorcards atm but they need a little bit more on once dry in places
so the 1 more tin ive ordered will do the last doorcard,
2 tins will do 3 doorcards , its taking a while to dry tho, it is going just hope it dries good or i will be pissed
the result upto now is there looking pretty bloody good to be honest
on the plastic it just wipes off very easy once dry

All 4 of my doorcards are leather. Unfortunately they've got the courtesy lights in & without Peugeot Planet to switch them on, they don't work. To get Peugeot Planet I'll have to pay £150 for that & another £100-150 for an XP laptop to use it with (mine is Windows 7 & the wife's is Vista). Since having lights that don't work just bugs me, it's a simple solution to replace them with doorcards that don't have the lights.
