Old Speckled Hen, courtesy of Swiss's Missus and our Tesco clubcard vouchers.

Therefore I fully intend to pitch up here as the night goes on and rant about whatever's on my mind. Spelling and grammar are liable to go out of the window, and apologies in advance for any upset caused.

Right, here we go. Lost. What the f*ck? I tried, I really did, but I got to about episode 8 or so and just got so bored with it. I mean there's this 'monster' they're all so scared of, fair enough. It's ratting the trees about and plucks the pilot out of his cockpit, which is up the top of a tree. Then it turns out to be a polar bear. BS.

Then there's the mysterious dude in a suit. OK. Only it turns out to be in the doctor guy's mind. Further BS.

Oh, and the fact that they had a doctor at all. If not, it would have been a short show.

And now we have these Sky promos, as if Lost is the defining event of the generation. Up yours, Abrams.

Though please keep making Fringe, it rocks

Ah, excellent, you got a PAS pipe :cheesy: I need to adjust my handbrake or something too - it's creaking :frown:

Years of intensive research proved to me that the best way to avoid a hangover is not to drink in the first place :(

Well Chaps I have spent the last 2 evenings adopting the traditions of my "new" home nation, so this has entailed straight Vodka from the freezer into shot glasses and away we go.

Now when I first came here as a visitor many years ago this practise quite frankly scared the living sh1t out of me, but you know as time marches on, I couldnt think of a better way to drink the stuff now, my current favourite is Sobieski Karmel, and after 2 solid nights on the stuff, not a sniff of a Hangover or any other drink related nastiness, so it must be the water they put in the stuff in england that used to make me ill, right :?:  :?:

I reckon we should have a section (a sub forum if you will) just for drunken rants, I have had one or two on here myself if i remember correctly, though i think they were Polski Lager powered, the vodka steals my ability to type most of the time!

God I remember having a few vodka sessions when I was a lot younger, I've never been so sick in my life. I just remember the comforting coldness of the porcelain goddess as I held on for dear life! Never again.

I used to like vodka until I downed enough to give myself alcoholic poisoning. I remember waking up in the morning still in the chair I passed out in, head fit to explode and I though some kind person had left me a glass of water. Downed it in one and then realised it wasn't waterImage I've not been able to drink it since.

Me and 3 mates used to share a rented house and we used to like a tipple of vodka. These are the empty bottles we had to chuck out before we went our separate ways

Vodka is bad for you.

We should though have a "Rant Room" section similar to General Chat, but for rants! :)

Alfa Owner forum had one and it was immensely popular :)

Oooo...kay. Keyboard has apparently restored itself to full working order, only when I power up it gets to the manufacturer's splash screen and beeps like it's going out of fashion.

Hmm. Oh well, lesson learned. No clinky vacuum-flask beer steins, they go pop :)
