Fault codes ??

i have had a Diagnostic guy out an he knows whit hes doin, but its comming up

wi fault codes 1517 and 1280 does anyone kno what these are...

I think one of them is a throttle sensor but not sure,, am at the end o ma tether,, tonight i put a fresh batterry in it....no joy... so i then disconnected the batterry an wired a bulb up to the batterry leads to take resistance out the ecu unit as a friend had told me.. so al put the batterry init tomoro an try it again,, has any one any ideas,, i asked the key red=code guy,, an he said without looking at it,, its NOT your key,, it`l probably be yer BSi... an a think thats mega money an gettin the right one.. anyone need parts fur a 90 horse 2.0 ltr 2000 model a very good looker...... a feel like breaking it an tryin to get some o ma dosh back

1517 is coded anti start function, IMRC input error (bank 2).

1280 is injection control pressure out of range (too low).

I guess your problem is possibly down to immobiliser.

tell me eoin 27,, why ??? o why ??? when someone like me has a serious problem,, an ye go to your computer to see if any one else has posted in the way of help , but to add to the disgust that am feeling about ma car, i open it up to find someone like you... jist postin a smily face fur the hell of it...why?? does that rock yer boat ??
