Ignition Lights issue HELP!!

Folks I need help I have a 2002 406 Rapier when I turn the ignition on there are no lights on the dash the radio comes on fine but nothing on the dash, When I turn the key one more stage the car turns over and all the lights come on the dash and everything works fine what could be causeing this issue, NOTE I got a new Indicator switch for the 406 as my old one was faulty could this be the issue. Also I took the dash out to check for a loose connection and all is fine. A fuse also wouldnt make sence as the lights come on when the car is started.. Can anyone help

You sure the bulbs didn't fall out when you were putting it back? Anything else not work, gauges, indicator lights?

No all seems fine becasue when I turn the car on all the lights in the dash work fine so cant be bulbs, Fuse Its a weird one. The only thing I can think of is it might be the new Indicator switch i bought becasue that is plugged into the ignition but I have no way of tell and I'm not taking off that dawm AIRBAG off again !!

When I first turn mine on I get child seat airbag, battery (no ignition on a diesel), engine, ABS, airbag and handbrake, after a second all but the battery, engine light and handbrake go out. Oh, and the oil level sensor of course. You're saying none of these come up until you wind the engine?

Was the indicator switch com2000 then? I can't imagine the two would be related but I dunno what would!
