Have just become the very proud owner of an R plate 1.8 16v 406.
She cost me ?500 , after having the sinc gear replaced on 3rd and a nice new cam belt she stands me at a whole ?744.55
Bless her she's doing an average 38mpg even with my right foot and the air con is FANTASTIC
Only problem i have found is the clock dunt light up @ night

That light is a pain in the arse. Mine keeps blowing all the time. I think my current one is still alive, but there's a lose contact somewhere by the bulb.. Very easy to fix though..
