wheel over heating

Hi i took my car in for smoke comming from my passenger side front brake which they replaced the pads on .I went back a week later as the entire front wheel was over heating the garage told me they stripped cleaned and regreased the brakes all was sorted.I drove it aabout 1 mile front brake disc was untouchable other side mildly warm the garage said there was no problem i drove it on the motorway today the whole wheel heated up is this a common fault or even safe,

No, it's not common and no, it's not safe either :shock:

You took it into a garage for this and the just replaced the brakes on the affected side? Was this "Buffalo Bill's Back Street Car Repairs"? :shock:

I think your first port of call will be to check they actually did free it up.

If I take it somewhere else and they find fault do I have any come back to them. All is well i called the garage this morning and he told me hes fed up of me complaining and if i come in hes gonna knock my teeth out
