Dash clock

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Held in by a couple of clips
TBH they are over kill for the job.
You need to lever it out probably from the top and bottom at the same time - I used a couple of knives to do the job, and just played careful as not to damage anything.
You can try to bend the clips before refitting so as not to exert as much pressure to make future removal easier

i assume its held in the same way as the hazzard warning light which replaced the clock in the D9 i bought plastic pry tools for taking out trim like that, basically just push it in about 2 cm, lever it, get another tool go round the sides and it pops out

i dont understand the 24hr clock, well i do but i cant quckly glance at a 24hr jobbie and tell the time it takes time to think, time i dont have, imagine reading the time off a binary clock.

not at all what else are you doing when driving except monitoring the road constantly for any potential hazzards or dangers.
