Why Is It...
That when you are looking for something it ends up being like rocking horse sh*te, but when you've got what you were looking for, loads turn up?
I was looking for a half leather interior for my estate for months when I settled on Stealthe's full leather. Then a week later a half leather interior turns up at a breakers. When it arrived, they turned out to be electric, so I've spent most of this week trying to sort out wiring as well as fitting the interior. The week before they arrived, another fellow listed a set of electric half leathers on Ebay.
Then tonight I find this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-406-ESTAT ... 230c599ef1
Manual adjustment & probably better condition than what I got too!!! Where was this a month ago?

Re: Why Is It...
my only compalint about electric is the wait for it to go from full forward to full back. But the level of adjustment and memory compensates

Re: Why Is It...
I feel the same way - finding a good leather or part-leather interior for a saloon is like finding hen's teeth
If that had been a part-leather manual-adjust set for a saloon, and I hadn't bought the Coupe already, I'd have gone for them.

This is the same as whenever you've lost something useful, given up looking for it & gone out and bought a new one, the one you lost will appear. Worse still, odds are it'll appear somewhere you're sure you looked

Re: Why Is It...
Bet that one ends up being cheaper too. May yet end up getting it if it's better than what I have.
Plus, to compensate a little, I might have solved my alloy wheel dilemma by picking up some rather rare(ish) wheels that I haven't seen on a saloon or estate yet.
2 sets of Hoggars & some 17" Alessios could be for sale very soon...

Re: Why Is It...
The Hoggars are nice wheels, I have the 16inch ones on my Coupe. Much nicer IMHO than the Starfish ones the Coupe used to have as standard.

Re: Why Is It...
I'm with you on that one. Some may disagree, but I honestly think that the Starfish wheels don't look right on anything other than a coupe.
