Key Pad

Hi all
Another daft question from a newbie,I have a 1996 406 19TD and my key pad is worn on two numbers getting hard to press them.To cut a long story short i let a m8 have my manual and he is in another part of the country and am in need of Knowing how to change the code ASAP.

Any help greatfull of

While the engine is running disconnect the keypad. The ECU will be unlocked and you wont have to enter a code :)

show us a picture of this codepad, ive never actually seen one before but the idea of it sounds rather suave, in the same way the bmw in the transporter filim had a code to start it.
