fuse 25 intemittent blowing

Hi All,
I have a 1998 406 coupe 2.0 and fuse 25 which control clock immobiliser and EMS keeps blowing intermittently.
The worst case was yesterday while i was on motorway and the car cut out.
Pulled over and went to replace the fuse and it sparked and blew.... called AA he arrived 35 mins later and put new fuse in and it worked fine.
Drove home nervously 60 miles the car was running fine. I have not used it since.
Any ideas !!!Has anyone had a similiar problem? - Putting it on a diagonistic machine, would that show up anything or would it only show up if the fuse blew.
Your help would be much appreciated.

get a diag machine in to see whats going on in there, it should throw up old faults.

Not really heard of something similar but I'd look for a short somewhere - check the engine loom for damage. Diagnostics would probably show supply issues but leave you none the wiser.
