On my D8 406, I've noticed a rather loud sloshing sound when I brake. I don't notice it when I accelerate, or turn - at least I haven't so far. The car seems to be running quite well, so I don't think it's causing any trouble but it is a little disconcerting.
We had a lot of rain lately, so I'm wondering if water got taken on somewhere. The undertray is in the boot of my car as I never replaced it so maybe that's an entry point? There doesn't appear to be any water inside the car.

We've had people in the past with water in their sills. Find the drainage holes and poke something in them to see if you get a wet arm
