newbie question ???

Hi people, i am sorry to come and bother you but i am after some information on the turbo that is standard on the 406 sri.

I understand it's a t25 but i am trying to gauge as to wether or not it will be of a benefit to me to fit it to my 306 dturbo.

I currently run a t2 and have been given a t25 complete with manifold and line.

This looks like a very simple swap over with only small amounts of work needed.

All i reall yneed to know is what sort of info people have on this turbo as it seems a very grey area on the 306 sites and i just need a bit of help to see if it worth while doing the swap over.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if i go ahead with fitting it i will be in need of a few parts ie downpipe.

I just need to know a bit more about the turbo really mate... from what i can work out from the internal sizes its a bit of a mishmash of t2 and t25.

I just want to know what they are like withstanding boost as the 306 dt will allow us to run alot more boost easier than it will you guys.
