Japanese AKita Puppies

Post by TRAVIS BICKLE »

AS per title, our two Akitas have had babies :cheesy: We have 5 girls and 1 boy left now.
they are 4 weeks old today. they have been given the once over by the vet and wormed and all that jazz.
they are just starting to play now and are keen to start eating solid food, they should all be toilet trained and a couple of them can already bark on command  Mum has papers but dad doesnt, they are both purebred.
The Akita is may not be a dog for everyone but they are extremely loyal to their family, great with the kids and very rarely bark unless something is wrong ie someone walking up your driveway but they dont bark annoyingly at anything that moves or other dogs. They do drop a lot of hair and being a very intelligent dog can get bored and be destructive if they are left alone too long as they love being with you.
I could go on about them all day probably so if you have any questions or need any more pics (which really dont do them justice) let me know.
Price wise £375

For an yone interested, these are extremly loving and loyal dogs, although there is quite alot of misunderstanding about them. They will happily sleep 23hrs of the day if you let them and eat and play for the other hour.Or they are just as happy the other way around.
I currently have a 3 year old bitch that I took in last May as my other one which was a dog and alot larger cxurled his toes up on me one night after 12 loyal years. Wasn't until my sister pointed out the fact that where ever she went in the house (when she was looking after him whilst I was away working )he would lay down between her and the door and when she went to bed he laid down in the doorway so she couldn't shut the door but no one could get passed him into the bedroom . In my flat was his domain and he just wanted to rip everybodies head off, outside he was just a cuddly bear.Anyone knocked at the door or walked down the path he went berserk, but if Shirley who lives downstairs was messing about near the door he never made a sound or bothered. This one is totally different in nature and wont even bark when folk knock on the door.
Anyway just to give folk an insite as to the nature of these dogs and are well worth getting, and I think these will be excellent pets.At that price they are well worth it, but my advice is read up about the breed (or any breed for that matter ) first.
Good luck with the sale, sorry I can't take one off your hands but not enough space for two of them.

no worries mate, they really are great companions. Its worth a google for Hachico. The loyal akita who went to the train station every day with his master, and waited for him to come back. Until his master died at work and never came back. But the akita waited every day until his own death nine years later. There was a movie made called hachiko a dogs story staring richard gere. I defy anyone to watch it and not blubber!
