just a thought,
ihad a simialar problem to this on my old puggy 306 and it was the flexi pipes collapsing inside,
ive seen some nice braided ones on ebay but there listed for a coupe,

will the coupe flexis fit d9 saloons ?

Hi, could be the Servo. Had this trouble on a VW Camper, replaced everything before the Servo and a new Servo cured it.
