Well out of all my colleagues' various cars, that is by far the loudest.
Actually, I'm not sure its driver even works for us, and we didn't have any visitors, so it must have been one of the other offices.
Flipping neighbours lowering the tone of our car park. (Ooh: that's almost a pun.)

the xud diesel is a nice noise, a massey perkins diesel is nice, a mercedes diesel sounds fanstastic.
But for some reason i really cant stand the sound of vw tdi diesels.

My old 325tds had a proper diesel sound from the outside, but there was so much sound deadening on it, from the inside all you could hear was a bit of a roar when you floored it.

I was polishing the Honda at the weekend, and all of a sudden thought I heard a tractor. Which puzzled me as this was in the middle of South Belfast.FarmerPug wrote:the xud diesel is a nice noise, a massey perkins diesel is nice, a mercedes diesel sounds fanstastic.

Looked round and it was just one of the neighbours in a newish Golf TDi. Awful racket

However another neighbour started up their Corolla diesel, and it was an XUD, brought back fond memories

Re: Vauxhall Consignia diesel
wrong avensis lozz, them ones were just a carina with a not really much fancier body.
The newer shape avensis the 5 star ncap ones, they really are properly refined, built like a tank and very comfy, but the engine isnt lively, its more relaxed
