lighting problem

has any one had this problem you wire in a new stereo and that night you realise that the intirier and dash lights aint working. the intiria light works only when the ignition is on (and i can turn the little battery light on on the dash buy the interia light buy touching something over the connector) but the lights on the dash and centre console don't come on when i turn the head lights on. iv checked the fuse and its fine can anyone help me plz

Unplug the radio and see if the problem goes away if it does then look at the wiring on the radio,
it might be wired up incorectly
