A friend of mine test drove a 1.9td and found it to be stuttering quite badly whilst driving but seemed to idle fine when stood still. He did say it smoothed out a lot if you bury your right foot in the carpet and that it was considerably quicker than my 1.9td.
Any ideas on potential causes and whether it would be a cheap fix?
Clutch? Gearbox? Mounts? Fuel supply?
Not driven it, but it is tidier than mine so if it can be fixed cheaply I may consider it myself
