There is a howto for a clutch change on a v6 in the knowledge base forum. It's pretty much the same procedure
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

hi, ive done alot of thease in my time and theres not much that is hard to do on them but i will say it makes life hard if your doing it on the floor, but if you have use of a two post lift its very easy, also i found that it pays to replace the dual mass fly wheel at the same time as this is normaly what makes the clutch go in the first place, but all in all they are not hard to do once you get all the crap away from the box. :)

Get it stripped down to the point where you remove the old clutch
plate , then check the rotational play in the DMF , think the tolerances
maybe in the haynes manual or google them . You can then decide if
it needs to be replaces , i doubt it will as they rarely fail .
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

questions
have you ever done any think like this before?
do you have the tools,
if yes go for it, i didn't find it hard on floor it was the more not knowing what you had to remove, now i have done it very simple,

good tip, remove front sub frame first, much easier four big bolts eather side steering rack bolts and bottom of front struts,(big bar) :D
you wont get box down with it in place.
