Dvla Medicals?

Anyone had to have a Dvla medical?

Got told off my doctor today hes informing Dvla im unfit todrive,
im tobehonest pissed off, :(

anyone had to have a dvla medical?
just wondering whats involved,

il have ago at fighting it,
if all fails, iwill just have to get a horse and cart,

That's not good lozz.

I hope things work out well for you.

I expected problems with dvla when I had my heart problems but they were fine.

Sorry to hear that Lozz.

I've heard of people who have had blackouts and they can only get their licence back once their doctor has told DVLA/DVLNI that they haven't blacked out in a year or something.

Not sure mate,
ive sent my licence back this morning with a letter,
so ive just coverd my self there,

iwill wait on whats next with this medical thing, (couid be along wait tho)

Update: postman pat brought me my licence back inthe last post, 8)

Trouble is, ive no car now, sold them thinkin, didnt need one, :frown:

So now you still have a licence but still need a horse and cart after selling the wheels? :wink: ....Do you mind me asking what happened? and did you bring the issue of driving up with your gp?

Igot adiffernt gp to sort it all out mate,

taking other doctor to court, its a medication related thing,

I have a medical every five years for my truck and coach licence. Takes about 25 mins and costs £40ish from Cotswold Medicals. Google them to see more.
