Hi
There's another thread detailing how to clean the laser lens in the factory sat nav when you get the 'navigation CD rom unreadable' message. I tried this a few times with no joy, so I suspect it's the unit - the disc is fine works OK in the PC.
I've been getting a 'throttle position error' message recently followed by the standard limp home mode. Funny thing is since I've whipped the nav unit out I'm not getting this anymore - could the Sat Nav cause such a fault?

Re: Factory Sat Nav 406 D9
I've seen speed value error messages on the pp2000 for the navigation system the sat nav might get the information about the speed off a sensor somewhere, its unusual that it could cause a problem with the engine though
