I think Daewoo were bought up by GM and are now Chevrolet for Europe, have been for years now. I work for a VX dealer and we sell new Chevrolets at one site but only stuff like the Aveo, Cruze etc. I'm pretty certain a VX spares place would do Daewoo, we do. But all the parts I buy are Unipart anyway.

Wikipedia says:
Daewoo Motors was a South Korean car maker established in 1978, part of the Daewoo Group. The company sold most of its assets in 2001 to General Motors after running into financial trouble. The commercial vehicles division was acquired by Tata Motors in 2004.
The original parent company, the Daewoo Group, went bankrupt in 1999, largely owing to the growth of free international trade, the collapse of the Asian economy, public perception of Korean products being largely of low quality, and by corruption and fraud. Its chairman, Kim Woo-Choong, was tried and convicted of fraud and embezzlement, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

As far as the automotive division is concerned, GM bought them outright, and eventually discontinued the brand entirely. Other than some of their final models (the Daewoo Matiz, for example, which is now branded the Chevrolet Matiz; same goes for the Daewoo Kalos which is now the Chevrolet Kalos), I'd be surprised if anyone was making new parts for them. They're dead and buried.

Out of interest, what Daewoo model is it?
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.

If you can find a Chevrolet dealer then they may be able to help; the Matiz was simply rebranded as the Chevrolet Matiz and is still on sale, so surely that's the best place to find help:

http://www.chevrolet.co.uk/contact/find-a-dealer.html

Failing that, a professional locksmith might be able to take a mould from the lock and create a new key for you (at least making the car driveable, but no chance re. the remote central locking plipper (if it even has one)), but being honest, it might end up being more cost-effective to simply ditch the Matiz (break it for parts).

And then buy something that doesn't look like it was made by Fisher-Price :P (sorry)
