Find a neighbour you don't like / Big Tesco / local council office with outside bins and stick 'em in there :supafrisk:

Just had a thought. My parents are currently trying to sell their house and move a bit further south (they're thinking of Elgin, which is much closer to Aberdeen than Thurso is). They had several big boxes of old video tapes, so they took them to the local Cancer Research charity shop and the local Red Cross charity shop and they both took them in with their thanks.

Tapes might be old and shite, but there's always someone worse off, or someone who doesn't care too much about picture/sound quality.

Also, if the charity shops can't shift them in-store, then they get sold to recycling firms anyway, so it's a win all-round for them.

Good idea mate,

but ive already been into charity shops, R.s.p.c.a etc.
they dont want films, some of the things people take in costs them money to have it disposed of if it dont sell,

ijust give them a few quid now and then when ive had a good win on the dogs,
