do i need to bleed clutch after clutch change
hi folks, ive just fitted a new dmf and clutch to my 110 hdi y reg,ive not yet started the car up but the clutch pedal seems quite a bit higher than it was before, when fitting the new clutch i only removed the slave cylinder by twisting it i did not have to remove the fluid pipe so if ive not disturbed the system do i still need to bleed it?ive not started the car yet as i need a rad fitting also.the clutch seems to be working ok tho just the pedal seems higher.is there a way you can just adjust the pedal.thanks steve.

if youve not allowed fluid to come out of the slave,
idont think you wouid need to bleed it,
pedal being abit higher shouid be normal ithink,
just check fluid level hasnt raised
