Is my cooling system bled properly?

as you may remember from previous threads ive been having probs with my matrix leaking, but its all sorted now and ive just filled the cooling system back up and wanna check its bled properly, i left the coolant cap off and turned the heat on max, unscrewed the bleed screw on the stat and it started to pump shots of water, then moved onto the one on the matrix pipes, that was pumping water quite a bit, so im guessing if the matrix is pumping alot it means the lower bled screw on the stat is free of air? this all sound ok?

sounds good, but i didnt catch which engine you have. i know the diesel has so many extra things on the coolant system id keep a close eye on your coolant level for the next few days... probably applies for all modern engines though
