Water is flooding in, mainly into passenger foot well, but also a bit into driver’s side. I have read all the other posts, but none seem to be the same problem.
I have had all the carpets up, seats out, glove box out, (nightmare with the glove box) and can see up to the brown coloured foam sound proofing of the dashboard bulkhead. It is dripping down between that and the bulkhead. It’s acting like a sponge, so I can’t’ see where it’s entering from.
Under the bonnet, it’s nice and dry, the main bulkhead is not getting wet. I resealed the pollen filter housing just in case. Under the scuttle panel trim, is ok and drains well, no blockages. The only place I can’t see properly is the underneath of the bottom of the windscreen. About 2 years ago I had a new screen fitted, so might be that, but the amount that’s pouring in, and that it’s only been for the last couple of months make me think something else.
Any ideas?
Mike

Do you have a sunroof?
Re: Water in footwells
I had a similar issue on a fiesta I had....After alot of trial & error it turned out to be the seal on the door that was letting the water in. But the winscreen seal is the no 1 culprit in water in footwells usually.

Have changed all the door rubbers, before noticing it was coming in from the bulkhead.Irish406 wrote:I had a similar issue on a fiesta I had....After alot of trial & error it turned out to be the seal on the door that was letting the water in. I would say the windscreen, but cant see how its geeting in, dont think its from the bottom edge, so maybe down the side.
