Some other part of the vacuum system trying to dump air through a blocked filter or similar / a failed electrovalve for a different function?

I know this isn't directly relevant to yours, but this write up on DW12 vacuum system fault finding has much useful info: http://www.406coupeclub.org/PHPBB3/view ... 82&t=35570

Cheers doggy,

i'carnt login to the Coupe club, They Binned my account a while back idont know why, Most probs because iwasnt an Active Member,

The part im Confused with is The Vac pipe,

Vac pipe shouid Suck in not blow out or Am i wrong on that ?

theres 2 pipes on the Solenoid one Blows off,

Filters are Fine and Turbo spools up no probs for a While and then it blows this pipe off iirc its 6mm pipe,
ireplaced that thinking it was just worn, but still the same, (i put a jubilee clip on it today and hasnt blown off since but somethings obviously not right, im hoping its not Remap related,

ive also heard it dumping Air back into the Airbox

Ive Rang the chap up that did the Remap for us,

hes told me to Remove the Engine cover for abit and see if the pipes pop off again,
Rekons it couid be the Mounts on thecover that are Weak and its flapping about vibration,

the pipes run at back of the cover so perhaps hes right, dunno :?

if not hes going to but it back to the Standard Map,

Im thinking now, Will ineed a code Reader, ? if the turbo looses boost or vac or what ever, will it log fault codes:
ishouid of asked him but forgot :frown:
