Hi you doing guys,
I'm currently fixing my D8. It has a almost 300k so Im planning on rebuilding the engine. I just added a few goodies but Im still missing the punch that a my old Accord with a H22 had. That car (Accord) was N/A with internals (Pistons, shaft,valves, springs,rods,polish) with headers, catback, high flow intake, pulleys, euro spec intake manifold and p28 tuned with Hondata.
Now, I wanna join the turbo side with my Pug. My plans include forge most of the engine and maybe import a good turbine from the States (Turbonetics or Garret).
My question is.....is it worth to Turbo my engine? How much abuse can the XU7 JP4 handle?
I'm not trying to half ass this proyect, it would take time and money, im aware of that......but I need your guidance to achieve the 250+ whp...
Any ideas?

the internals are good for 250bhp and getting forged pistons will be impossible the rods will need to be custom made and the turbos i would get a vnt gt22 or sum thing like that and reprogram the ecu to control it, you will also need a pump and injector upgrade. all that will get you to about 200bhp and it will be alot of moneys and time, then you need to start thinking about the head ports and valve size.
