Hi All
My HDI uses oil not a lot probably a litre every 8-10000 miles and more if i boot it hard also i have noticed and mainly in warmer weather that if i come to a junction and pull away "HARD" theres like a cloud of grey smoke i have no loss of power but could this still be turbo related

take the intercooler pipe off and have alook see if its full of oil,
or take the pipe off turbo and have a feel see if there is any play (end float)
ithink plenty smoke if you give them a bootfull, (no smoke no poke as the say
)
is it Mapped or are you still running standard ?.

No its not mapped though does feel pokey for a 90 bhp so not sure if a previous owner has, i dont think this one has an intercooler i will have a look at the turbo pipe tomorrow as the weather has decided to be nice this weekend for change
