Welsh Members - Newport Peugeot Express Fit Recommended

Post by neildavies »

Just thought I'd give credit where it's due. I've been pricing around getting the timing belt changed on my wife's 206cc. Most Peugeot dealers wanted the Moon, specialists wanted £205. When I phoned Newport Peugeot (where we bought the car), they said cars over 3 years old they put through to their Express Fit fixed pricing garage.

Anyway, the price they quoted was £174.99. I've just come back from there, no catches, no hidden charges and a friendly service. It meant taking a day off work and a day hanging around Newport for me, but for that, I had he job done at the cheapest place and I've got Peugeot backing, so worth bearing in mind for any future work needed.

(Mods, move if necessary, couldn't find an appropriate forum)

Yep, £174.99 is all I had to pay for the lot. I couldn't believe it myself that the cheapest was actually a dealer! The express fit centre has set pricing, so they give you a price of routine jobs like timing belts etc and that's all you pay.

As I say, I was well impressed.
