Petrol Vs Diesel - instrument panel fit issue

Post by BigMak »

Hello friends.

I have 406 SRDT of 1999(D8).
Is instrument panel from 406 Petrol of 1997 (also D8) will fit my car ?

Both panels have two connectors behind (blue and yellow).

Rpm meter scale is different between the two models.
Is likely to be fake rpm meter and speedometer?

Thank you, Ariel.

I've done this in a 2001 306HDi, albeit the other way around and it worked correctly. I.e. petrol clocks in a diesel.

Not all that helpful I know, but I'd say it's probably fine
